Well host was amazing. Explained most things for how everything operated in apartment. We've stayed in a lot of Airbnb's around the world but this is one of the most modern and best equipped we've ever stayed in. Very spacious with everything you could need. Didn't need any adjustments on the super comfortable bed and pillows (which apparently was adjustable) because we were so tired after a long day. Sadly we were only there for about 14 hours but I would highly recommend. Make sure to follow host's GPS instructions. Entrance is on the main street not around the back where google maps sends you.

So as I said we were super tired. Host explained how to work the washing machine and dryer. Saw the signs above the machines after we'd started our load. What he forgot to mention was the extra fees for both. Understandable but wish he'd mentioned that as the payment system was too hard for us to work out being dinosaurs. Ended up leaving euros over and above because that was the only cash we had and their machines were very new and clean. Just had to clean the lint filter in dryer which I do routinely.

Lovely, up-scale modern apartment on a quiet street. Owners live upstairs. Everything new; electric beds, heated floors, new lovely washer and dryer. Plenty of street parking. Amazing moveable TV with Netflix. No complaints.

"Wonderful flat"

A wonderful modern flat with lots of space, an amazing bed, great decor. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful. Great wee kitchen complete with fridge, washing machine and drier, which is always a bonus for travelers. The bathroom was outstanding. Easy walk into the town centre and wonderful views out the windows. A quiet neighbourhood yet central.

We'd go back there for sure; it was a refreshing haven. A few additional cooking utensils would be useful.

Really nothing to be worried about that it is underground. The place was fantastically built and furnished. We would say that it is better value-for-buck than any hotel room in a small city could ever be. They do give you very nice PDF that has all the information about Åndalsnes restaurants, things to do, etc... 5+
