Captain's Rooms

We had a wonderful stay at Captain’s Rooms in Aegina, and we truly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Mario made everything easy — check-in and check-out were smooth, quick, and perfectly organized. Our room was even better than expected: quiet, private, and surprisingly cool and shaded — we didn’t even need to turn on the air conditioning or fan, even though it was 33°C outside! The beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchenette was just right for preparing light meals or coffee in the morning. The location is ideal: in a peaceful area, yet only a 5-minute walk from the lively day-and-night atmosphere of Aegina’s port town — full of shops, tavernas, and beautiful sea views. If you're looking for a relaxing, well-managed place to stay in Aegina, Captain’s Rooms is a great choice. We truly enjoyed our time there and would happily return!

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything exceeded my expectations!

Au deuxième étage il y a une petite terrasse très appréciable pour souper au couché du soleil. La cuisine est basique mais fonctionnelle et propre. Bon accueil avec de l'eau dans le frigo et petits produits de douche. Situé très proche d'un petit super marché, boulangerie et un fast food avec des spécialités grecques. Proche du centre. Les plage près de la ville ne sont pas extraordinaires. C'était un bonne expérience d'acheter du poisson frais au marché de poisson et de se faire un repas le soir.

Les rues de la ville sont étroites et il y a beaucoup de circulation. Difficile de marcher en toute sécurité hors des zones piétonnes.

Simple and confortable

The location is very close to the center, the furnitures are new, the sheets are clean, our stay was comfortable in general.

Even though we arrived an hour late for check-in, our room wasn’t cleaned yet. The prior guests were just leaving, and the administration didn’t contact us about this. We were frustrated that we weren’t informed. Additionally, there was a renovation work on the wall facing the toilet, and the toilet window didn’t have a curtain. While it’s not common to place curtains on toilet windows, a solution should have been provided for this specific case.

The apartment was perfect with balcony in the bougainvillea! Super comfy and Mario the land capitain was super welcoming and easy to reach.

Not a big deal for us but at night, it sometimes get a bit loud with the motorcycle driving down the street.
