Location , space and good for a group . Log fire in kitchen ( Shane not in lounge) .

Cold on arrival and no central heating . Took ages to warm up . Only one shower which for group was not sufficient. Shower over bath not practical. Parking outside a bit tight for certain cars

Lovely location, beds nice and comfortable, spacious and very accommodating for children.

House needs updating and is tatty. Shower ceiling paint is falling off and there isn’t a handle on the living room door. Definitely could do with decorating.

Spacious but cozy, inviting but private, this property strikes the perfect balance when it comes to self-catering offerings. We loved the town and local shops just as much. The visit to The Newt close by was such an enriching experience. Well worth the detour off the normal beaten path!

There was not much one can complain about really. We were there in the middle of summer and it was uncomfortably hot but the apartment had fans so we managed. We would very easily return just to spend more time in Castle Cary to rest and relax.
