Lovely location, clean and welcoming property

The property backs on to a beautiful green space and creek. We had the superior apartment which was HUGE...basically the whole first floor. The apartment was very well equipped with the exception of a washing machine and air conditioning. It was super clean and quiet. We arrived very late at night and while there is no staff on site the host came and graciously met us there to give us the keys.

Upon check out the hostess chided us for not having sorted the garbage properly although we had no indications during our stay which items were to be sorted in what way. (Paper, plastics and organic waste each go in separate bins outside to the right of the house when facing it.) The property is a 25 minute walk into Bad Breisig but we had a car so not an issue for us. There are 2 single beds and a small daybed. We had to take the mattress off of that so my son could fit by sleeping on the floor. There are also 2 sofas but there are not really comfortable/designed to sleep on. We were 4 people but they only allowed 3 of us to stay there - I believe it is a city rule. So my husband stayed with his aunt. Too bad they cannot add an extra bed as the apartment is extremely spacious! It was very hot when we stayed and a fan would have been welcomed.

We liked the green scenerio and the running stream. The apartment with a terrace was very big(it wasnt important for us but for some it's a positive thing). The kitchen was quite well equipped. Good train communication to the neighbour villages and cities as well as ferry going on the other side of the river. The apartment is good as a base station for sleeping if you are planning on having active vacations(like we did). But if you just want to stay in one place and relax, I wouldnt recommend it, neither Bad Breisig. There are more beautiful villages / towns around that seem to be more interesting and tourists friendly locations.

The location, the nature, the yard of the house.

One of my most unpleasant nights. After we couldn't get the keys at 15:00 because the host was working somewhere far away and you have to call him I don't know exactly how much earlier, finally we got the keys . He behaves impolitely, rudely, raises his voice. But that's not all. As soon as we arrived, I noticed that it was very cold in the apartments. The host began to turn on the radiators in front of me. But…someone turned off the heating every night. Not only are you sleeping in the cold with the kids, but you also have to wait for the crappy radiators to stop rattling and popping because the noise is unpleasant and stressful. Don't forget, bring cash if you do choose this place. In the twenty-first century, you can't pay your resort fee with a card here. Even the host frowns at you. You have to find ATM. How come you don't carry cash?

We used to book in this property. The location is beautiful and was very relaxing. There are so many facilities you can enjoy!The staff was super friendly and helped us. thanks a lot..

Very good location: quiet surroundings, forest nearby, wonderful panorama. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped, comfortable. The host is kind and flexible. Everything was great!
