Faro Apartments

This is a great apartment with lovely views over the main square and lighthouse. The balcony is great, shade in the midday sun, which makes it lovely for a cold beer in the shade. You are blessed with many restaurants in a minutes walk, all selling good fresh food. Chania is a beautiful town with many narrow streets. The hospitality of Raphael, the own is 5 stars, delivered us breakfast every morning of fresh pastries and fruit. This really is a great place, and we will be back.

We had an amazing stay at Faro Apartments in Chania. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the kitchen had all the essentials. The location couldn’t be better—just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and the Venetian Harbor, yet quiet enough at night to get a good night's sleep. We especially loved the balcony with its beautiful views—perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The host was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always available if we had questions or needed anything. Rafa gave us great tips for restaurants and local sights that made our trip even more special. We would 100% recommend Faro Apartments to anyone visiting Chania and we’re already planning our next stay!

Noise from the street as there are bars and restaurants. Not much can be done by the host but important to know if you wish to sleep prior midnight/1am.

This was a very spacious and well appointed apartment in an amazing central location in old town Chania. WE LOVED sitting on the balcony and enjoying or morning coffee. The host communicated daily with us and was extremely accommodating to our food requests. The dedicated parking space within a 5 minute walk is excellent as parking in Chania is extremely challenging. We appreciated the washing machine in the apartment. Definitely one of our favorite places in GREECE.

Everything was good

On a 1 to 10 scale for location, this is a 12! Right in the heart of old town, you can sit on the balcony and see the square and the harbor; amazing! The street noise near the bedroom was a little elevated until 11:00 p.m., but not so much as to keep you from sleeping. I can't overstate how great the location was. Rafael was a great host. I was concerned about the parking being a short distance away (6 min), but the way it is situated, your are guaranteed to have a spot. Driving is a bit sporty in old town, but take it slow and you'll have no problem.

That we didn't stay longer

Very large, comfortable, clean, full of light, with a beautiful view on the port and perfectly located apartment. The possibilty to park the car a real plus in Chania. A very good breakfast, almost a lunch! Excellent communication with Rafael.
