Melani Apartments

We had a truly lovely stay at Melani Apartments! The apartment was very clean, and during our 9-night stay the towels were changed five times, the bed linen once, and the whole apartment was thoroughly cleaned. Both the owner and the hostess were absolutely wonderful, kind and welcoming. We arrived at 2 a.m., and the owner was so kind to wait for us. They are around the villa throughout the day, as they also run the restaurant on the ground floor, so they are always available if you need anything. We were welcomed with delicious cakes and wonderful chilled homemade wine, which was such a thoughtful touch. The bed was very comfortable, the terrace chairs were new and comfortable, and the view from the terrace could not have been more beautiful. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality!

The furniture is not the newest and is typically Greek, a little worn in places, and room quite small. We also had limited kitchenware—for example, only one fork—but we are sure they would have provided anything we needed if we had asked. None of this bothered us at all. 😀

The owners and staff were tremendous, incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond. Private beach, which we had a balcony view of. Perfect location, quiet, but easily walking distance to chania old town

The shower in our bathroom didn't have a head holder, but apart from that everything was great.

Super personel - człowiek czuje się jak w domu, dodatkowo lokalizacja i widok z okna przepiękny. Zdecydowanie polecamy i planujemy wrócić tam w przyszłości.

Die Lage ist super, man hat direkt einen Strand vor der Tür und bis zur Altstadt sind es 20min zu Fuß. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Eckbalkon und mehreren Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Die Ausstattung der Küche ist spärlich und das vorhandene Geschirr war nicht sauber. Nachts kann es laut sein und mit einem Zimmer direkt über der Küche der Taverne, riecht es abends die ganze Zeit nach Grill. Der Zimmerservice sollte nur nach Aufforderung geschehen, auf einmal klopfte es abends gegen halb sieben und es sollte geputzt werden. Das Personal verstand nicht, dass es gerade unpassend ist und wir es nicht möchten.

Locatia este foarte buna, aproape de plaja si de parcare.

Fotografiile sunt inselatoare, nu corespund cu realitatea. Absolut toate facilitatile sunt vechi/invechite. De la robinete si manerele usilor pana la mobila si accesorii. In plus, geamul de la baie si usa de la balcon erau intepenite, le-am deschis cu mare greutate. Si am gasit un gandac in chiuveta din bucatarie. Nu se depune niciun efort pentru ca oaspetii sa se simta confortabil in camera. Toata cladirea (si zona din jurul ei) arata ca o casa plina de vechituri. In plus, prin pereti si usa se aude orice zgomot.

Soggiorno davvero perfetto: dall’accoglienza alla posizione strategica, leggermente fuori dal centro e dalla confusione ma raggiungibile tranquillamente con una passeggiata di circa 20 minuti. Vista dal terrazzo completamente sul mare. Spiaggia sotto casa semplice ma molto carina. Consiglio vivamente di affittare una macchina e girare le spiagge più famose dell’isola, che distano circa 1 ora e qualcosa dalla casa (come Elafonissi, Falassarna ecc). Proprietario del ristorante e della casa, Andrea, molto accogliente e gentile. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e la vista sul mare era fantastica. Da guardare le foto che ho messo sotto per vedere il tramonto e la spiaggia sotto casa. Concludo, tutto perfetto veramente.
