Location, comfort and all the luxuries of home. Dean was a great caretaker, and was thorough in checkin and making sure all details were covered and nothing was too much.

Location was out of town but a good location to get the feel of what Coober Pedy is like. Very well appointed accommodation for a family, we travelled with four children.

"Underground Gem as the name says is literally a Hidden Gem in the little town of Coober Pedy."

Dean, met us on arrival and gave a warm welcome and a very comprehensive tour of the property. He went an additional mile to help us with information about the town and places to visit, which helped us immensely in planning our itinerary. The property itself exceeded our expectations. Spacious bedrooms, well equiped kitchen and comfy lounge room to name a few. Located in a quiet corner of the town, this gem of a place was an exceptional dugout stay which was a bonus to our trip. Highly Recommended !!

"Unique and genuine experience with friendly owner!"

Interesting property which was definitely the underground dug-out experience. It was comfortable and had good TV for the kids. Kitchen had lots of items including spray oil and band-aids which was great. The owner was very friendly.

There was a bit of "fluff" on the walls and ceiling which fell and meant some extra cleaning for us. Gravel / dirt road to get to the property.

"Great experience of living underground"

Great experience of living underground. Property was huge, way bigger than expected. We were met by our host on arrival who was very friendly and helpful.

A little bit out of town, but no problem if you have a car.
