The Apartment, 24 West End Terrace, Winchester

The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable. Though small it was well equipped and we had everything we needed. We stayed during an amber warning heatwave and were comfortable enough thanks to a Dyson fan. We didn't use the fan at night and still slept well. Location in residential district close to centre, just a 5 to 10 minute walk. Beverly arranged a parking permit so we could park on the street outside at no extra cost. One afternoon we came back at 5.30 and there wasn't a big enough space but Beverly noticed our difficulty and came out and moved her own car so we could take her space. We really appreciated her kindness.

Blinds had to be kept shut as windows looked straight on to the street and narrow pavement. Despite it being quite a busy access road, however, we didn't find it too noisy. Checkout at 9am is not ideal but Beverly was able to extend it to 9.30.

The location was excellent for visiting our family as well as walking (downhill) to the High Street and attractions.

The small ensuite (with a good shower) worked ok for us however may be a challenge for some.

It’s not that I “did not like “ but I thought by the peek through door there was a peaceful wee garden …somewhere I’d relax outside ..not quite what I’d imagined …but all v lovely otherwise

Very well appointed accommodation conveniently placed for Central Winchester. Very friendly helpful host. A self contained apartment with front door to small seating area on a sunny day. Lashings of hot water in the lovely shower. Heating was good and apartment was warm. I loved the Brita-filter on the kettle, but that's just me and my love of tea. Recommended.

The property was very comfortable and in a convenient location for the City.

Very clean, well appointed, comfortable and has parking.
