The Water Shack - Amazing tiny house retreat

It was fabulously quirky. The room was laid out carefully and the facilities were good.

The tiniest moan was the ladder to the bedroom. Maybe I’m too old though…. It was great, that’s the key thing.

I really loved the property. The host was helpful and kind and welcoming. He went above and beyond to help us and make us comfortable. Even helped us plan our daily activities away from the shack.

It says numerous times about there being a hot tub AND a bath. But there wasnt a hot tub. I didn't mind but it could be quite misleading to others. This doesn't take anything away from how great our stay was though, we will be back!

We love this place. It is heavenly. Peaceful, cosy and well designed. A fabulous place to explore the area from and most of all to get back to, read, watch the sunset and relax.

The location of the water shack is spot on .If your looking for peace and quiet and place to unwind for a few days then this is the place for you . You have plenty of wildlife at your front door with your own ponds,it's absolutely beautiful. . John was an excellent host ,very knowledgeable around the area ,so no shortage of things to do ,pubs walks ,days out etc . Attention to detail here and the thought that John has put into it is amazing.. a

The property has so much character. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are sad to be leaving. We will be definitely booking to come back.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

Everything was fabulous. The shack is the perfect place to relax and wind down. Very comfortable and a great location. Dog friendly and very warm.
