The pool and the overall potential of the unit were good.

Communication before check-in was poor despite us contacting the host earlier in the day. We only received proper instructions after arriving in Penang late at night. Upon arrival, we were informed of an air-conditioning issue and were initially asked to move to a different unit. After checking in to the booked unit, one air-conditioner was still leaking. Several amenities also did not function properly, including the TV, and one bed did not have a blanket prepared. Overall, the stay felt poorly managed and not fully aligned with expectations.

None. Despite booking and paying for this accommodation well in advance, I was informed only a few minutes before 3:00 p.m. on the day of check-in that I had to stay at an alternative property instead. Prior to my arrival, I made several attempts to obtain the check-in details through WhatsApp messages and phone calls, but the agent was largely unresponsive. The check-in information was not provided despite numerous follow-ups. The communication and handling of this booking were extremely disappointing and caused significant inconvenience to my travel plans. This was one of the worst experiences I have had with a property agent due to the lack of responsiveness and poor customer service.

Last-minute relocation to a different property. Additional charges incurred at the alternative accommodation. Poor condition of the substitute accommodation. Delay in returning the security deposit (it has still not been refunded).
