The room was very clean, filled with a delightful aroma, I actually wanted to ask what they were using, I really liked it

Very clean. Good mini-kitchen facilities. Strong shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Staff were VERY helpful! Lots of hot water. Had every necessity.

Toilet seat was loose, needed fixing. Good location, but a rather steep climb up to it. But then, ALL hotels are up or down hills in Grindelwald! Very tiny space, but I wasn’t there much.

Location was excellent. The apartment was so very nice and lovely in every way. We definitely would return. Margerit at the reception was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable in every way, a great asset to the image of the place we stayed. She gave guidance in all aspects of our stay and was always there to help with any questions.

If you are a solo traveller like me and you are looking for a reasonably priced apartment to explore this area of Switzerland from then you can’t do much better than this! I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely return one day and heartily recommend it! I miss sitting at the little table and chairs outside the flat, either having my breakfast and planning out my day or having a relaxing beer at the end of the day watching the sunset reflected off the eiger. An unforgettable stay. Any problems I had were quickly resolved my the hotel staff who were very helpful and friendly. Switzerland is quite an expensive place so it’s worth having self-catering facilities such as this to save a lot of money! I just want to add that the fridge has a small freezer compartment as had I knew this I’d have bought an ice pack with me to keep my sandwiches nice and cool.
