The place was decorated very beautifully and the rooms were spacious. The location is perfect for tourists like ourselves. The balcony was our favourite part of Arkada Apartment.

There weren't any drawers or more hangers to place our clothes, I believe this was the only thing this place was lacking.

The apartment is so tastefully done, it's superb. The bed in the window is definitely a view to wake up to! The owner was responsive and helpful Loved our overnight stay here One thing to note is that it's on the 3rd floor - 6 flights of steps to get up to it so be aware of this if you have limited mobility

The fishings are high quality and thought has been put into the design. It's a beautiful one bedroom apartment. The mattresses on the Murphy bed and queen bed were high quality. The shower was powerful. The air-conditioning in the bedroom was great. The location was excellent.

I waited a week to reflect on my stay before leaving a review. We were one couple and a mother and son (4 years old, non verbal with autism). We arrived late at night to find an entire bedroom missing. The description on booking.com at the time of booking stated: "a living room, 2 separate bedrooms". This is not accurate. There are a Total of 3 rooms in this entire apartment. A living room, a bedroom and a shower room. It was late so we made it work. Not being a family meant that there was absolutely no privacy. Mother and son had to take the bedroom because the Murphy bed was too high for the child and there was no way to turn off the stove top which was meters from the bed and far too tempting for a child. Another issue for the child's safety was that the front door opened directly into the living room. One day the owner was cleaning the other apartment and I asked her was there a mistake as I had been put into a one bedroom apartment and not a two bedroom. She tried to justify her description and insisted that it was an apartment with a living room and two separate bedrooms. My mind was blown as we physically stood at the door of this apartment which had 3 rooms total. The owner offered to move us next door to the two bedroom but we had spent so much time trying to child proof and adapt the one bedroom so we declined. The next day there were people in that apartment so I was a bit taken aback. Had we moved they too would have arrived to find a bedroom missing too! The following day the owner started messaging me, once again blaming her options for the description on booking.com. I was very annoyed. No matter what there are only 3 rooms in the entire apartment. I acknowledge given the shape of the apartment it was not possible to show the kitchenette and the front door with the open Murphy bed so there was no intention to mislead there. The owner has now changed the description to "living room with a seperate bedroom".

This was a well presented and comfortable apartment very close to the centre of Cluj. Although we did not meet the owner, they were very responsive and helpful when we sent email requests. This was well equipped with comfortable beds and a small outside space,a balcony. We had a great time, at great value! An all-around good experience!

This is a caveat and not a criticism. We knew about this before we went. The apartment is on the third floor, so if you have issues with stairs, this is not for you. We are a mature couple, one person with Parkinsons but we managed it, if with small rests and slightly out of breath! The views from the front were worth it.
