Very cold when we first arrived. It took several hours for the heating to warm the place up. Right next to a carpark which was not too much of a problem in winter as it was fairly quiet.
GBVery straightforward instructions and enjoyed contactless key pickup after our long journey. Property was exactly as described and in the perfect location for exploring Cockermouth, the northern lakes, and generally relaxing. Was well provisioned for self-catering (including dishwasher!) and building was nice and clean throughout. Parking right next to the property (via public car park) was also very handy and took the stress out of finding somewhere central to park. A wonderful base for our latest trip to the Lakes. Will definitely be back again!
GBGBsome pans need upgrading
GBGBCosy but up to date cottage. Well equipped. Super sleep in comfy deep mattress on SuperKingsize bed. As we have Superking at home it was good not to feel squashed in an ordinary double. Handy for visiting our son and grandchild and near to centre facilities with pubs, shops, restaurants. Thankyou for the thoughtful additions of milk and btle of wine.
