The Loft

It was lovely, very well kitted out, well furnished and with a number of thoughtful touches

What was not to like?!

We stay here a lot as my sister lives in Crowborough .What a find very peaceful and no light pollution so lovely to be able to sit in the garden and count the shooting stars . The hosts are very accommodating and thoughtful especially with the basket of treats and fridge items such a welcome touch.

Spotlessly clean Light and airy, really stylishly furnished and comfortable bed, as well as a fully equipped kitchen area Very nice welcome pack with bread, butter and jam for breakfast as well as drinks in the fridge and snacks. Our hosts were super flexible and allowed us early access as we were driving a long distance and attending a party nearby so wanted to leave our car there Beautiful views from the bedroom window and a lovely seating area on the grass outside the door if you want to eat outside Really peaceful location. Absolutely perfect for us

Everything - well appointed - comfortable - homely

It was really well thought out space, beautifully furnished and full of lovely finishing touches. Lots of tea and coffee and to have plenty of milk, fresh orange juice and breakfast goodies was wonderful.

Sadly we didn’t get to meet the resident dogs!

shower needed more pressure

Very nice Loft and a friendly and supportive Host Charlotte. Many Goods to start; like Wine, Chips, Milk, Bread etc.

A bit few space to store clothing. No German TV.

Lovely boutique feel to this property! Owner left a basket of goodies as well as milk, tea and biscuits so breakfast pretty much taken care of. We had some atrocious weather during our stay so put the electric stove on in the evening - the whole accommodation was toasty in no time. Bed super comfy (choc on pillow a nice touch!) and bed linen / toiletries were lovely. The view from the bedroom over the Ashdown Forest is lovely - you can see for miles (rain permitting!) We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The water pressure is quite low which is a bit of a pain in the shower.

We loved the location and views, the food and drinks supplies, the facilities and level of equipment available and the degree of comfort we experienced. There was nothing basic or 'make do' about the Loft and was the ideal place to get ready for and then wind down from a wedding. The attention to detail was outstanding. We wanted for nothing!

The weather could have been better. Hardly the fault of the hosts!
