The golden sands park which this caravan is situated on is lovely quiet, clean, well maintained

The caravan was disgusting, 1st when you enter the smell hits you ! A smell of damp and decay! Then you saw the dirt and realization that the caravan needs a serious make over a good clean and modernisation, we spent the 1st day there cleaning after we brought cleaning products as the caravan had none ! we couldn't get the oven to light so couldnt cook apart from the hob ,there was water on the walls in the small bedroom so much so my son and his wife were waking up with wet pillows ,there was quite clearly mold around the caravan,the pans in the kitchen where on the floor in a cupboard, the fridge was dirty with a freezer full of someone else's food ! Finally after using lots of germ killing detox and incense to try to clean this hovel and get rid of the moldie smell we had enough and left a day early , we all returned ill with a very nasty chesty virus which a week later I still have .I'm a disabled woman with a severely compromised immune system and this was not exceptable! Iv stayed in dozens of caravans over the years and this was the worst iv ever stayed in ! Who ever rented this caravan after me (15/9/2024) you are very lucky as we cleaned it and kinda got rid of the smell ,for now ! As I'm sure it will be back .I spoke to the owner who informed me quite proudly that his family own over 120 caravans , and when I told him about the damp etc he made reference to the caravan basically being Tin can ! 😲🤬 , I would like to give the people who own this caravan some advice , I know the cash grab is tempting but dont settle for quantity over quality! It will be your downfall .

Local bus stops, powerful shower, warm and cosy, close to shops and arcades, bedding smelt lovely, great staff on the campsite, seating outside, quiet, 5 minutes away from hardys farm and fantasy island.

No tea towel or cloths to wash up with and had to buy our own.
