Breakfast was fine, host was attentive.

No back up power apart for power outages - apart from a couple of rechargeable lights. The external surrounds of the premises in total darkness from power outage which made it difficult to reach your room after when arriving at night after dinner.

It was quiet, comfortable, in a safe environment will all the comforts needed for a great stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I’m particularly picky about a good bed. It was so serene and relaxing. Even though I was there for work, the space had such a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are virtually sound proof so you do not hear anyone else. The wifi works perfectly and is fast and undisrupted, there was a nice tv, kettle, microwave, mini fridge, hairdryer, and Aircon in my room, making the stay a lot more comfortable and convenient. I also had both a shower and a nice big tub bath - perfect for relaxing in, and a desk for catching up on work. Lastly there is a large outside space where guests can sit and eat or bbq. The hostess Jennie / Jeannette was so kind and accommodating. When I informed her that I was lactose intolerant she made a special lactose free breakfast for me and bought lactose free milk for my room - for my coffee and tea. She really went above and beyond being assisting and accommodating. Lastly the space was so nice and clean. This will probably become my choice of stay for any upcoming visits to East London.

There is no sign outside the gate demarcating the Bed and Breakfast so it is a bit confusing on arrival. Would also have liked to have new or an extra set of towels for my second night. Honestly very little to complain about at all. It is just plain lovely.
