One day while using the hair dryer, suddenly the bedroom, restroom and hallway was out of power. Since it was Friday night after 9pm, no staff answered my phone calls. I was not able to get information about where the electrical switch box located to reset it until the next day. Suggest to put such information in the rental handbook.
CAA very comfortable, clean one bedroom condo one block from the water and a five minute drive from Kailua Kona. Note that this property is on the third floor and there is no elevator. There are 28 steps up to the front door. The assigned parking spot is very convenient and is right next to the pathway to the condo. The staff were wonderful to deal with for minor issues that came up and were very concerned that we enjoyed our stay. There is no central air conditioning, but the bedroom and living room each had rolling portable units which were adequate. It was nice to sit on the patio for our meals, and we had a keyhole view of the ocean. It was a one minute walk to the ocean front to watch the sunsets. There were thoughtful touches like good quality amenities and an insulated backpack for our food and drink during our daily adventures.

The maintenance man was a little grumpy. My wife has two hips replaced and has to use mask and small pink fins to swim, and he came by rudely and told us that she couldn’t use them.
USThe grounds are absolutely beautiful. This condo is in such a nice spot, looking down on the pool and an ocean view from the lanai. The kitchen is very well supplied. The bed was very comfortable, and there was air conditioning in the bedroom. The lanai with its table and comfy chairs were our favorite part. So enjoyed having morning coffee there. The beach chairs and boogie boards were very much appreciated too.
The guest policy was very strict.
AUVery comfortable, good quality accommodation especially for 2 people. Easy access via car and 1 parking space close to unit. Easy 5min drive from lots of Kona shops and restaurants.

The owners responded very quickly up to the morning of arrival- I asked if we could check in before 3 if we were early. They said yes if so, and would let me know. When we arrived, they didn’t respond to any of my texts until the next day. We couldn’t find a few things and still no response until the following day. So their response before/during stay was not consistent. They also asked us to use their a/c wisely due to the high billing costs of using it (only one in the bedroom). We complied but it was hard because it was very warm during our stay. Fans didn’t really keep it that cool.

USUSLocation is great. We’ve stayed in the area many times and we know what we want - this unit more than met our expectations. Great views of the ocean from the lanai - wonderful place to have coffee in the morning and watch the longboats go by. Very clean, had everything we needed and even some extras - appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella for our beach days. Air conditioning in the living area as well as the bedroom.
