Savvas&Katia's luxury studio

After an awkward start with host, who needs to brush up on his customer service, which is essential when working in hospitality- maybe calm down and not be so quick tempered, he kindly offered to come and pick me up from the airport at very inconvenient time for him, my flight was delayed and didn't land till 1:30am. I appreciate that and that's why this review is better than it could have been. Due to the time of arrival at the place and my 5:30am wake up for the ferry I can't really rate the facilities. The place is one room - which is sparsely furnished, better suited to a summer stay. The place was clean. I booked it due to the closeness to the port for the first ferry to Igoumenitsa

Definitely not luxury as the the name implies. The bed was next to a window which was the old kind of single glass, not soundproof at all, due to its location of being on a flight path, every plane felt like it was landing in the room. I think I must have only had 1 hr sleep. I specially booked this and requested 'a quiet room' ...... it turned out to be the noisiest place I have ever stayed and this was in Oct when there aren't as many flights landing in Corfu. As said in the first part of the review, the host wasn't very kind to me, reduced me to tears during a phone call, I stayed calm, he offered to cancel but it was too late, so I took my chances, not a nice feeling when you are a travelling alone. I thank him for coming to get me, but it ruined my stay in UK visiting my parents as I was absolutely dreading arriving back in Corfu on my return.

The host Savvas kept us updated before we arrived was there to greet us with all information and a welcome smile .savvas goes above and beyond as a host .The apartament was spotless and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location very good for catching a ferry ⛴️ would highly recommend.

Didn't stay long enough hopefully be back.

There is very little space between the mirror above the basin and the body. So you are unable to brush your teeth easily without spilling water outside the basin onto the floor. Shaving is also a challenge, but easier.

Safe neighnourhood in walking distsnce to the old town and very convenient if you are using the port. couple of supearkets snd cafes around too. nice shower

Friendly host, great location for using the port and well-equipped, good shower etc.. Providing a large bottle of drinking water much appreciated. Perfect for a short stay.

Windows could be a little more soundproof, generally a quiet area at least.
