Nice quiet place. Beautiful garden. (Almost) full kitchen. Proximal to grocery and to train station (10 minute walk). Roomy shower. Comfortable chairs. Ample hangers for your clothes. He does allow guests to use his laundry but this was not advertised in his listing, so I did it at a friend's house in Kerkrade. Host speaks sufficient English if you don't speak Dutch. He upgraded me from the "family room" to the studio because I only needed one bed and it had more.

Unclear checkout instructions. I left the keys in the room since the host was only available by phone Sunday morning. It was a bit stuffy. A fan helped; I borrowed one from folks I know who live there. TV channels I had when I arrived stopped working. There was a cobweb in the window and pistachios on the floor, so I don't know how clean it was. Decor is old, so you might not find it aesthetic. Since I know people who live in Eygelshoven, it wasn't a problem, but he only takes cash, so you have to pay him upfront, probably by bank transfer. It's legit, but it seemed suspicious at first. Anton is on the level though.

Absolutely beautiful , like travelling back in time! Anton is a Gentleman & couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed.

I couldn't wait to go to next destination...had to sleep with my own little fan (thank heavens for it) It was boiling in there.

The location was nice and easily accessible. I really appreciated the host's welcome and hospitality. He was also available and approached throughout my stay, as well as flexible regarding time of check out.

The beds were not the most comfortable The curtains were rather light and made sleeping a bit difficult as light came into the room from the outside at all times and the sun hit the room very early and strongly. The plates and cups available in the room were sticky and stained. (One of the wine glasses had a red dry stain at the bottom)

Beautiful farmhouse with spacious living room and dining area. Close to the snowworld and all kinds of amusement parks.

Wifi needs to be improved.
