Birdsong Ridge - where nature meets the ocean.

The location is wonderful with a view, birds and kangaroos, in peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was good (especially the homemade muesli and local honey). Although we didn't use the washing machine, it was convenient to have laundry hanging space available.

Bright overhead light in the living area/kitchen. The shower cubicle is very small and it is little difficult to regulate the hot water in the shower. There were quite limited crockery supplies (e.g. we cooked pasta but there was only one pasta bowl and the other bowls were very small). Some of the 'local tips' on the sheet provided need updating (e.g. Paperbark Walk has been closed since November last year apparently and there is now a closer shopping centre and bottle shop to the one listed).

Carl welcomed us and showed everything. He had been great with communication. The unit has everything you might need.

Loved everything

I originally looked for accommodation close to the beach, but this place turned out to be perfect. Very quiet, beautiful night sky, kangaroos and kookaburras around- it was great- and the beach was only a seven minute drive away.

Really no serious problems. The instant water heater makes the shower a bit variable in temperature, and my spouse thought I was playing tricks on her, but that was a very minor issue.

Quiet and peaceful location in the middle of nature. Lots of birds and kangaroos in the morning. 5 minute drive to the ocean and shops. Beautiful sceneries and walks in the forest and on the beach

Was very quiet and peaceful. The kangaroos in the morning and afternoon were a treat! Best sleep I've had in a very long time! Close enough to everything Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy has to offer.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

The place was quite spacious, with a good well equipped kitchenette and table and 4 chairs. It was quiet and away from the tourist crowd. It lived up to the name Birdsong Ridge with wonderful variety of birdcalls in the early morning. Some friendly kangaroos came by to nibble the grass. The flouro light was good and bright and suitable for artwork in the evening. The wi fi was good and the TV had good subscription services. The host was friendly and provided fresh fruit and milk as well as cereal for breakfast.

The property has no keys, totally trusts that the private location will avoid theft. The bathroom was spacious, and could accommodate a walk-in shower but the shower cubicle was tiny. The host lives upstairs which was not made clear in the booking process. The air conditioner was old and noisy.
