Glastonbury town center-entire apartment

Communication with host was easy and apartment was easy clean and well laid out.

Curtains were really flimsy letting in alot of light in the morning. The room with the sofa bed has a window missing a curtain altogether! Its a shame that the apartment is let down by this. I am not sure on market prices but it seemed expensive for what it was. My review may be a bit harsher than is deserved due to me being woken up so early by the light after less than 5 hours sleep.

Clean, homely, welcoming and spacious

The place is super clean and like your home, warm and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful as we arrived a bit earlier and she kept the luggage’s for us for free!!!

Property excellently located within easy level walking distance of the Town Centre. Double bedroom was spacious, light and airy. Second bedroom was not quite as light due to trees outside The 2x single beds are lovely and soft. They both have head and footboards so if you’re taller than about 6’ 1” you might struggle to lay straight. I actually slept on the sofa both nights of our stay as I’m 6’ 4” and found the sofa (which I think pulls out to make a double sofa bed) incredibly comfortable, and I had a wonderful sleep. The bedding is of high quality and felt lovely. Honestly I’d book here again just to sleep in these sheets. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find 2x types of milk in the fridge (ref & almond) as well as coffee (reg & decaf) hot chocolate and tea, sugar and sweeteners. This meant we were able to have a relaxing cuppa without having to go shopping which was a first for us. Butter pats and individual portions of jams were also provided in the fridge. The kitchen/lounge/diner is spacious and bright, and even though the property faces onto the road it was lovely and quiet at all times even with the windows open. The 2x large sofas are delightfully comfortable.

While being described as “Coachman’s Yard” the entrance door is actually on Northload Street. This caused us some confusion as the actual courtyard addresses begin at number 10. WiFi reception is also tricky in this part of the town so plan accordingly. (I couldn’t access my emails/messages when we arrived so had to telephone for the key box code)
