Central penthouse in quiet neighborhood near sandy beach

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful and overlooks the mountains which was nice to wake up to every morning. It was also very clean and spacious - we never felt cramped. The apartment is also a 5 minute walk to old town and very close to a nice beach. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood next to old town which is nice since we never had issues with noise and always had a nice walk home. There is also a parking spot at the apartment which is crucial since parking is impossible to find in town. Pavlos was wonderful as well and very helpful. He met us at the door when we arrived. Would absolutely stay here again

The bath is small, and you can't take a standing shower (no hook for the shower head) but it wasn't such a problem for us because we are short people.

The Apartment is walking distance to Beach, Old Town, Supermarket and everything else you need. The really nice beach is only 5 min walk, the Old Town is about 7 min walk, the supermarket is about 5 min walk. The Host is very friendly and extremely helpful guy. Whilst we were in the apartment it was my Birthday and our Anniversary and asked the host where he recommended to eat. On his advice we were not disappointed. To note on a Thursday there is a Market in the road outside the apartment which sells local produce and lots of other stuff. Well worth a visit

The Bathroom needs attention, as the bath is too small to bath in and the shower head is not fixed to the wall. This is a minor negative, but really needs addressing. Either attach the shower head and hose to wall as a cheaper option or take bath out and install a shower cubicle. The apartment also needs a couple of sun beds so that you can sunbathe on the Varanda. Whilst we were there the weather was really warm and there were days that I could not be bothered to go to beach and would have liked to relax in the apartment on a sunbed. Another small negative is that there was no microwave in kitchen.

Really nice place with a huge terrace and everything we needed. Very spacious. Quiet at night and within walking distance of Chania centre, restaurants and the beach. Pavlos is a kind and attentive host.

Everything was very good. I can't imagine a better apartment and host. I warmly recommend!
