Chania Old Town room

The location is very good. The stuff was very communicative and answered quickly to my questions or problems.

I think they had to do more in order to stop street light to come into the room at night. I told them and they realy did some improvisation but they have to do about it something durable. The room does not get realy sun light during the day and I did not see a mantion about it on Booking. The bed is a little too soft. It should be improved.

Pierwszy i najważniejszy minus tego miejsca brak Wi-Fi. Kilkakrotnie zgłoszono do właściciela ale za każdym razem wymówki że jutro po jutrze. Mają do wynajęcia trzy osobne pomieszczenia, które znajdują się obok siebie. Router jest w jednym, jak tam nikogo nie ma to pozostałe dwa nie mają internetu. Tak było mi wytłumaczono. Sumarycznie przez 10 dni pobytu miałam dwa wieczory kiedy mogłam skorzystać z okazji. Na prośbę udostępnienia innej sieci, dostałam info że winą jest stare historyczne pomieszczenie które nie przepuszcza zasięgu (skrin zasięgu pozostałych sieci obok załączam). Łazienka jest pokryta pleśnią: firanka, szwy kafelek, drzwi. Na dwie osoby dostałyśmy jedno prześcieradło. Pomieszczenie jest słabo wyposażone brak szafy na ubrania, tylko wieszaki (zaznaczam, że pobyt 10 dniowy). Również można pod drzwiami spotkać przepełniony kosz na śmieci oraz w pośpiechu pozostawione brudne rzeczy lokatorów z pozostałych dwóch pomieszczeń.

I really wanted to like this place. The location is amazing right by the harbor and they could do so much more with this apartment. At the same time, I can see why other people had complaints. The room itself was fine, but the bathroom could be improved. We didn't do any cooking and only came back to sleep each night. I would be unhappy if we chose to spend more time in the studio.

The host seems nice and wants to be helpful, but there were just too many small issues and excuses that it left an unfortunate impression. The apartment is in an old building so there's no reception inside the apartment. Unfortunately, the WIFI we were given didn't work and the main WIFI was apparently being fixed. Each day we were told, it would be resolved the next day, but it never happened. Our sheets didn't fit. We were told this when we arrived that it was because the cleaner broke her neck or something. We were supposed to get it the next day, but that didn't happen and we were told new sheets would be dropped off the day after in the morning. That didn't happen either. When we messaged, we were told afterwards that it was because the laundry places are closed on Sundays. We finally got it a bag of new sheets for our last night. The shower area is cramped and a bit dirty and the shower head is broken so it just sprays water everywhere. These are all things I feel can be easily fixed, but just that it wasn't is disappointing for such a great location. Lastly, as a suggestion, it would be nice if all the check-in information was sent beforehand. We gave our arrival time, but received no information until I messaged the host right before we came. Be sure to message well ahead of time and arrange your meet-up.

It was quiet… staff did everything to rectify issues that we had to do with getting in (at short notice)

After problems getting in we were a bit disappointed for the price we paid. Could improve shower function and another pillow and blanket. Basic stuff …
