Odyssey Studios

We loved everything about this place. Xania and Costa were wonderful hosts. The building was lovingly renovated and the room lovely. We enjoyed access to two balconies from the top-floor apartment (Athena?). The location perfect. We even enjoyed the music taverna's music at night. Highly recommend this place and would return in a heart beat!

There was no couch in the room, just two chairs, but the second balcony offered a lovely alternative to sitting inside anyway, so it did not bother us at all.

We stayed for 8 nights in the studio apartment with the courtyard. The hosts were so amazing just like everyone else had said in their reviews. The location was amazing. We were close to the old town and away from any of the noisy streets. Walking to the old town took us no more than 2 minutes so for anyone wondering if it’s far from all the scenic spots, it’s not. We walked everywhere quickly and easily. The apartment itself was great. The bed was comfortable, having a washing machine was also handy and we hung everything to dry in our private courtyard. The kitchen is compact but had everything we needed to make meals. If you rent a car, parking was easy to find too right on the street near the apartment or there is paid parking within a 4 minute walking distance. If you are considering a stay in the old town of Chania, we highly recommend the Odyssey.we would 1000% stay here again!

Everything was great

We have stayed here before. Xenia and Costas are excellent and generous hosts who are always keen to help in any way possible. The location is absolutely superb in the heart of the old town with many tavernas within easy walking distance as is the old harbour and marina..- in fact a good taverna with traditional live music every night is only 4m from the front door of the apartments but as the music is acoustic it is not intrusive in any way. Our apartment enjoyed a private roof terrace which was a great place to crash in the afternoon and enjoy the fabulous weather but was also a great place to relax with coffee and a Metaxa on our return at night.

Nothing really but the stairs to the top floor are a bit of a challenge when you get to your 70's !

It is quiet, but right in the heart of the Oldtown. Costas and Xenia are great hosts

The hosts Xenia and Costas are sweethearts-best ever! Great communication, came out to meet me at Main Street (and let me check in a little early) cos the apt is hard to find first time. Xenia genuinely smiles all the time and provides ALL the latest bus info and books any tours you need. I chose smallest place as whole of Chania is very very expensive and still high season late Sep early Oct!!! My room had single bed. The kitchenette (well equipped with even bread press to make toasties, coffee press, pans, pots) and room were tiny but good for the price. Location is fantastic but best of all Costas gives a fantastic tour, value for money, of Chania as his families from here - he is one inspiring and amazing person. Location amazing in old town near the main marketplace and harbor and historic sights. 12 min flat walk to main KTEL bus station. The place I stayed is one of 3 adjoining small buildings and it was the quietest, with a lovely small private patio. I fell very ill and spent 3 of my 4 days in bed, but easy to get to supermarket to get roast chicken and pharmacy for meds. I know Odyssey is good value for money cos I met their long term return clients- one Finnish couple said they've been back annually for 5 years to stay months long! Checking in and out super easy.

The bathroom was super small and taking showers in the tiny shared cubicle with toilet wets the outside floor if you'renot careful to hold the shower head and aim it INWARD towards the wall - but its manageable

Excellent in every way. So many little touches, including coffee, milk cartons, jam, water, etc. Super safe and clean, welcoming and informative. Warm and hospitable hosts. Quiet and comfortable, with a friendly cat or two. Truly, one of the best places I’ve stayed in Greece.

Sad that it was for only one night.

Odyssey studios was in the perfect location to explore Chania. Xenia and Costas were wonderful hosts and were very helpful during our stay
