Ali's Underground Studio

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Ali’s Underground Studio and it was one of the highlights of our Coober Pedy trip. Sleeping in a genuine underground home was a unique experience, and the studio was surprisingly spacious, comfortable, quiet, and maintained a perfect temperature throughout our stay. The accommodation was very clean, well equipped, and had everything we needed for our family. The self check-in process was simple, parking was convenient, and Ali’s detailed information about local attractions and restaurants was incredibly helpful. We especially appreciated the tourist tips folder, which helped us make the most of our visit. The location is excellent, within easy walking or driving distance of Umoona Mine, the underground churches, opal shops, and other attractions. Ali was a thoughtful and responsive host, and it was clear she genuinely cares about her guests having a great experience. We highly recommend Ali’s Underground Studio to anyone visiting Coober Pedy. If you’re looking for an authentic underground stay that’s clean, comfortable, and ideally located, this is the perfect place. We’d happily stay here again!

This is a great property! Has everything you could ever need and more! Easy access and so comfortable. Nice bathroom and lovely hot showers after some days of free camping! As a solo traveller with a small dog, this was the perfect retreat underground to use as a base to see the sights. Coober Pedy is very dog friendly which really helps when you are on your own. Loved the sieve and trowel for use for noodling. Nice high carport suited my dual cab with rooftop tent. I’ll be recommending to all of my friends and family.
