Cootamundra Caravan Park

The grounds were quiet and the general feel very pleasant.

Apart from a microwave no cooking facilities in the room. (on more careful reading of facilities listed for the room, only a microwave was mentioned, Hence I expected a good camp kitchen) There were plenty of utensils, crockery etc but had to go to the Camp kitchen. But the camp kitchen was of a very poor standard. Looked and felt like it was in the "shed". No room, little bench space. The microwave there was on a board over the sink. The electrical plugs couldn't be reached so a trail of extension cords and double adaptors snaked around the area. I didn't feel it was safe to use the appliances. In the room itself the floor boards were chipped and parts were missing on the floor (ie there were gaps)

Close to Main Street.

The bathroom was very dirty, exhaust fan had never been cleaned by the look of it. The basin was mouldy where the plug hole is & all along the edge of the roof/ ceiling is dirt layered & leaves, this inside. This was in the older cottage.

Friendly staff and close to city center

Clean, new accommodation with good facilities for an excellent price. Within walking distance of the centre of town.

The front office had posted hours that didn't line up with reality. Also, I would have loved a map in the reference folder that showed what the facilities were. We had to rely on asking housekeeping.

Easy access, the unit was clean and a private veranda was a added bonus
