Studio Batilas

Very cozy and quiet place with lovely details.

We loved staying at Ioannis’s place! The room was modern and comfy, in a quiet green village with fresh mountain water just 20 meters away. The internet worked great, and Ioannis was super helpful with anything we needed. Thanks again for letting us arrive early — have a great winter!

Studio Batilas è un piccolo spazio tranquillo e piacevole dove potervi rilassare immersi in un piccolo villaggio tipico della parte est di Creta. Per quando non sia in un grande centro città è molto comodo per visitare la parte est, a metà tra la laguna di Balos e l'isola/spiaggia di Elafonissi. La strada per arrivare è comoda, a soli 20 min di auto da Kissamos. Troverete un'accoglienza splendida e la disponibilità della famiglia Batilas per informazioni e suggerimenti.

Purtroppo la connessione wifi, seppure presente, non funzionava molto bene e la nostra connessione telefonica non andava per niente. L'acqua calda della doccia non funzionava, abbiamo poi scoperto che nel pannello elettrico all'ingresso andava regolata ma non lo sapevamo. Per fortuna non è stato un grande problema visto che faceva molto caldo :)

A lot of amenities provided. The hosts were extremely friendly and generous. The neighbour is very lovely too. This is a perfect little studio to enjoy the quiet side of Crete.

It would be good to have a car park spot highlighted to avoid blocking the road. The neighbour was helpful with this.

The studio was very well equipped especially in the kitchenette. The flooring and decor was of a very good quality and how the studio was set up had been really well thought out. The bathroom was very good quality, with excellent water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. We were greeted by the hostess who kindly left us grapes from her garden and raki in the fridge to bid us welcome. It was a great stay and we will happily stay again.

There was nothing to dislike. However if you have never stayed in a small rural village in Crete before be aware that you will be visited by local cats who are very friendly but one to bear in mind if you have allergies.
