"Lovely apartment in a beautiful rustic property set in a charming picturesque village"

David, the host, was extremely helpful and friendly. The house is beautiful, very rustic with lots of charm and character. The apartment was a great size with everything that you could need. It was very comfortable, and again, decorated in a very rustic style fitting to the village. The village is stunning. We would have liked to stay longer but it was just a stopover during a long drive.

The soundproofing between the floors is not great. Some guests for an apartment above us arrived extremely late at night and woke us all up with their heavy cases on the floor above (not from wheeling them across the floor but from what seemed like, just pushing them off the beds onto the floor). It was exceptionally loud but I think it was due more to the inconsideration of these guests, as most people would be quieter when arriving so late and would be respectful of people sleeping. So, I still give a 10 rating.
