Kehr Apartment - Aare Jungfrau AG

The location was excellent..close to the railway station and with direct view of the beautiful peaks. Sofia was very helpful with any doubts we had.

The shower is a bit small, but it no way reduces any positive points about this place.

The house is near to the station. Very clean and mostly comfortable. The TV was a nice touch because we watched Harry Potter Marathons on some nights. Very cosy and convenient. The cooking utensils and dishes are provided with dishing washing soap and sponge. The owner was prompt on replies. Easy instructions given for self check in.

There’s a sitting area outside the house where you are supposed to enjoy the view of the mountains, unfortunately it’s blocked by trees. There’s no lift to this basement house which is on the same level as the laundry room. And also, you need to pay for the washing machine and no laundry pods are provided. The kitchen hood was not working and the shower drains slowly.

Great location to everything, warm, laundry available, great comfortable space.

The bathroom is a little old, stepping up into the shower. Everything else was great and updated so I imagine the bathroom will be updated one day.

We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, with grocery shops conveniently nearby. The apartment was well-equipped, and the sofa beds were perfect and cozy for the kids. Overall, it was a great experience, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Highly recommended for families!

The bathroom was quite small, which could be improved. Additionally, it was mentioned that the washing machine would cost 1/2 Franc, but we later learned that it requires three half Franc coins for the washer and another 3 half Franc coins for the dryer. It would have been helpful if this information was clearly displayed in the laundry room.

Comfortable apartment but one would expect this with the cost of the apartment. Close to the train station, shops, restaurants and the condola ride to Grindelwald First. Great view of the Eiger when it is out.

Considering the price of the apartment it seemed petty to charge guests CHF1.50 to do a laundry wash with no detergent provided. Coffee, tea, and sugar would also be nice to make guests feel welcomed, especially travellers who do not travel with this items. Bit penny pinching. Car parking space for Kehr apartment was not indicated at all which meant we were always concerned that we would be asked to move our car as we did not know which was the allocated spot.

Toilet shower cubicle and toilet area was relatively small.

Location right beside Coop supermarket lets you easily get anything you need. Space was adequate for 4.

The entrance is very dark and down a narrow stairs into a basement, and check-in was rather late at 4pm (already dark in Grindelwald). Doesn’t feel good to check into such a place in the dark.

The location is near the station. Thats about it.

The place is out dated, not worth the price. Many other better apartment /hotel for this price. Person responding to queries is very poor. We got the lowest level room,feels like basement. Very hot,cannot control anything. Bare in mind its winter now and the heater runs along the floor in the masterbed room, had to sleep in living room. Toilet is dated,rusty,small. For this price, even motels are better. Spiders were around the area as well. Worst stay during our switzerland trip. Forget this place, find other place which is about the same price.
