Casa Guanab, Oaxaca

Very friendly owners, who gave us precious tips on what to see and do in and around Oaxaca. The house is located in an quiet fraccionamento and you can park your car direct from the door. The house has everythin one might need and the outdoor patio is very beautifull and relaxing. If you need a supermarket or a restaurant you have plenty of of good options within walking distance. But to go to the Centro you should drive or take an Uber.

This is nor realy a bad point, but only a sugestion - the table at the dining room should be bigger. Currently it is set for 4 people but the house can host up to 8 people.

The location is very convenient

fantastic location … you are only 10 min drive from downtown Oaxaca, also super close to the main attractions of the city and the area. Downtown Oaxaca is literally 10 min drive, and we decided to stay there because finding parking in Oaxaca downtown is a real challenge. Hence we did walk or even took a 50 pesos taxi to the city. You have plenty of shops, supermarkets, food options and everything you need within walking distance. Alfredo our host kept on checking on us to make sure that we were doing fine through our stay. To be honest the house is actually much nicer than what you see in the pictures. the indoor terrace is just amazing to chill for a glass of wine and relax … A place you would love to stay at …!!

it was a long walk from the centre

The location was great. The courtyard was lovely, the bedrooms were comfortable. We enjoyed being able to whine down with a little TV after our daily adventures. The host provided maps with awesome food and sight seeing locations. He brought us chocolate too!
