BEAUTIFUL RETREAT - 20 mins to CBD and only 10 mins to MONA!

The property was stunning, wildlife all around us, twinkle lights lit the driveway and our cozy little cabin was perfect

The property is exactly as described. Set in a beautiful part of the world just outside of Hobart. We loved the cosy little cottage and the cute little pademelons that live in the gorgeous garden.

Nothing.

Beautiful little room, great distance from the city and very very friendly host. Nice selection of dvd's to account for the patchy internet connection. Bed was comfy, shower was nice and warm.

Car parking can be a tad squishy, but nothing worth kicking up a stink over. The shower is small, but the living and bed space makes up for it. I want to preface this by saying this is COMPLETE personal preference and something I understand many people won't even blink twice at. But the owners will come into the place, locked door or not, to change your towels. Which I wouldn't care about if it has been discussed or written somewhere, or if we were given the choice to decide whether we wanted that to happen or not. So if you have any issues with something like that, maybe just shoot your hosts a message before you book to see if they can have a chat about it. Just makes the stay feel a bit less private.

The location was far enough from the busy city vibe and close enough to get to the our destinations easily. Adam was very welcoming and accommodating, he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Nothing to complain there. Maybe add a streaming service for people who would like to chill and relax in that cozy room.

Beautiful location with amazing scenery and peaceful surrounds.

Very friendly, welcoming hosts who made us feel very much at home. The house is ideally situated in a rural setting with a beautiful, well-kept garden. We - Europeans - were mesmerised by a family of pademelons and an echidna leisurely strolling/hopping by when looking out of our lounge windows.

Our hosts Craig and Andy were very friendly and welcoming and were full of ideas on local attractions and areas to see whilst visiting Accommodation was lovely and comfortable and location was very nice tucked away with views

This is a wonderfully quiet place so close to the city centre. And the two hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. This place is a must for a quiet weekend away from the city bustle.

The location was superb, wonderful scenery and grounds to walk around. The accommodation was comfy, optional fireplace if required ( didn't need use of ), kitchenette was functional and a wonderful view from the window. Craig was very welcoming, providing information as we required and turning the heater on if we were expecting to be late back, with a simple text. DVD'S, books, information available for times when you want to sit back and relax or plan your next day's activity.

The shower recess was small and contained a 20 cm step up which was not suitable for those unstable on their feet
