Lucea Cottage

Great value for money. Everything we needed including well-equipped kitchen. Very peaceful despite being in centre of town. Ideal base for exploring the area. Recommend visiting the Discovery Centre with wildlife meadows nearby.

If have to be critical, the TV could have been bigger, and the sofa more comfortable.

nice space, clean and had everything you needed in it. Easy walk from the train station. Very responsive host, sent the key code for the lock box a sensible amount of time before arrival which often isn't the case with lock box properties and it made the whole thing so much less stressful. The property is easily one of the best I've stayed in in that price bracket. there was even things like tea bags, a small bottle of milk and some cooking oil. It had a good selection of pots pans and cutlery so cooking was easy, and the oven and cooker worked, which again is rarer than it probably should be . There was fresh linin on the beds. The space as a whole was a lovely base and nice to spend some time in in the evenings too.

Bit chilly when we first arrived as an unexpected drop in outside temp wasn't anticipated by heating settings I suspect but soon warmed up.

Easy to locate.

The smell of damp and musky we should stay. Only stayed 3 hours and went home.

Obviously recently refurbished from a shop? Clean and tidy but lacking character. Could do with better light in the bathroom.

A little dark in bathroom

Very comfortable and convenient. Our host provided everything we could possibly need.
