6 Berth The Chase Ingoldmells (The Rio)

While booking the holiday, the owners were quick to reply to any questions or requests i had. On arrival check-in was super easy and stress free, which was a bonus when travelling with children . As I booked a cheaper van I expected an older one but it was lovely inside very clean and tidy , towels and bedding supplied were all great and the bed was the best night sleep I'd had in a long time . I booked the holiday to make memories with my grandchildren and it ticked all the boxes .....I will be booking with them again .

There should be a note to say there is a building site next door ....although it didn't bother us at all because I wanted to be tucked out of the way. The first morning, I was woken to the caravan vibrating a little bit ....first time foreverything i guess, at least now i can say the earth moved for me in ingoldmells 😂🤣😅 and it would be true 👍 😅

The caravan was clean and comfy had everything we needed provided

The location from Skegness but I drove so wasn't so bad

I like the layout of the caravan, the bathroom was good sized, nice shower.

The oven would not light, we brought a lighter. Condesation at night builds up in the back wall and window, in the small bedroom day, it was best to keep it open.The snall bedroom light has no replacement cover, as the old one was tucked under the bed. There are no bins in the kitchen or bathroom. There was no replacement mop a broken mop was under the caravan. The vacuum was full and needed a clean before I used it. The xaravan is raised high, you can easiely trip on the door on the way in or out. THere is also a housing estate being built, early wake ups, Monday to Friday.

Beds were comfy

All the utilities were dusty as if it hadn't been cleaned for months, the fan didn't work properly turns extremely slowly, there was glitter glue on the sofa which hadn't been cleaned from a previous visit, the whole caravan shook if you moved at all. Needs a bit of work in all areas.

Great location on a nice site. The van was clean and had everything we needed. The comfy king size bed was a bonus!

Cannot moan for the price but could provide with provisions like shower gel, shampoo, kitchen cleaner etc

Only stayed 2 nights, but would happily stay a week in this caravan/park. Built in wardrobes with helpful (random) selection of hangers. Small Morrisons shop on site. All appliances/facilities working and in good condition. Bathroom + en-suite w/c bonus! (x2 toilets) Quiet area ❤️ Everything appeared clean. Think double bed might a king size? Comfy. Lovely pub ‘The Countryman’ on Chapel Road. Would happily stay in ‘The Rio’ caravan again. Pleasant interaction with hosts 👍

Plug hole in shower. Might need refresh on seal or silicone maybe? That’s it, literally nothing else. Great stay.
