"Quiet hidden gem a short drive from town."

We were fortunate to be greeted by the owners upon arrival. They were coincidentally doing some yard work so handed the keys to us and gave us a quick introduction of the room. Give me the secret to those streak free shower screens. Probably one of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever been to.

"A beautiful place to stay at Lake Tekapo overlooking the lake and mountains"

Nice room complete with all amenities. The room was already pre-heated upon arrival by the hosts, a thoughtful gesture after a day of driving to reach there. Blinds were also able to fully block out the windows for a good night's sleep. The view in the morning of Lake Tekapo and the mountain was fantastic.

"Easy and comfortable for a short stay in Tekapo"

Very comfortable room with a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Warm and comfortable for a short stay - easy access from Tekapo town - 2 min drive down the road. Quiet, peaceful area.

For a one night stay it was perfect. There is a lovely deck outside with a beautiful view, however it isn't particularly private.
