La vue depuis le logement est exceptionnelle. La terrasse est sympathique. On a une vie privée. Ce qui est un réel point positif pour ce coin peuplé de l'Italie. On est au calme.

Il fait très chaud dans le logement et la proximité avec l'eau attire beaucoup de moustiques. L'hôte n'est pas disponible et absolument pas prêt à aider pour quoi que ce soit. Le logement n'est pas facile d'accès. Il faut descendre une pente raide pendant 20 minutes pour s'y rendre. Ce n'est pas désagréable, mais il faut en tenir compte.

Calme +++ Baignade "privée" Siviano village tranquille

The location is amazing, stunning. An isolated Island, what more do you want. The apartment was clean and with enough room for all of us. The outside patio was perfect for outdoor living and drinks/food at night. The kitchen had everything we needed.

The shower was a bit rubbish. The double bed was really wobbly. The bikes available to hire were not well maintained (tires low, wobbly seat). Not that the owner can do anything about it, but everything is uphill from where it is. Quite a trek!

Absolutely stunning location, the apartment was perfectly clean and everything that we needed in an apartment was there. The views from the terrace and windows are just amazing. Due to its location its very peaceful surrounded by olive trees. There are a few other buildings that appeared to be holiday chalets in the common area, but everyone was quiet family vibe. There was great access to kayaks/canoes, a stand-up paddle board, bikes and covered deckchairs. It was great to have access to the water and was easy to get in for a quick dip too! I'd recommend making sure you are a confident swimmer as it is a swim at your own risk area. On arrival there were two big bottles of water, oil, tea and coffee. Salt and pepper, sugar. Plenty of crockery and cooking equipment. Siviano is a small community and we were lucky to meet a few local residents with our fractured Italian. In the town above (Siviano) there is a bar, pizzeria, small supermarket, travelling fruit/veg truck. Up there you can also catch the Monte Isola Bus. To note, there are some short cuts up to the town but it is a steep walk any route you take. Monte Isola is...a mountain island so keep that in mind! There are ascents and descents! We decided to park in Sale Marasino and take the ferry to Siviano, the service isn't as regular as from Sulvano to Pesc. but regular enough plus there are a couple bars to hang out in if you're early. To note, the parking scratch cards can be bought from a number of different bars so no panic if one is closed. With regards to getting to the apartment, it is a bit of a walk from Siviano port (maybe 15 mins) over cobbles and unpaved ground. So keep that in mind if bringing large suitcases. The apartment is a little way up the hill so there are stairs but they are lit well. We were totally fine going up and down a couple times a day but can see that less active people may struggle.

Our only suggestion would be that it would be nice to have an electric fan in the bed rooms as it is humid and can get warm quickly. In the evenings we closed the shutters and windows to avoid insects getting in plus there was a very atmospheric thunderstorm a few nights so it did get a but stuffy. Maybe a box of tissues would be nice :)

This is the perfect lake location for relaxation and serenity. The apartment was bigger than we expected, with two extra large terraces. Great to have use of the bikes and kayaks and the lake itself is super clean with swans and ducks. It's also a lovely temperature for swimming in September. The extensive garden with olive trees and wildflowers was gorgeous!

Nothing, but a warning that there are around 50-60 stairs to the lake and garden, and the main village with small shops is up a steep lane.
