RIVER WEST HIROSHIMA

We liked the size of our apartment, it was especially helpful to have a 2nd room/office with desk and chair as my husband had to work remotely from 5AM-9AM, so he was able to work in his own space. Having a kitchenette, dining space, washing machine, and entryway separated from the rest of the apartment was useful. The amenities and features are a little on the aged side. It is a short walk to the north side of the station and for being next to the tracks, you couldn’t hear the trains at all when the windows were closed.

The apartment felt a little sterile, I think some extra amenities that would help warm up the space and make it feel more cozy and comfortable would include: floor lamps (in the living space and bedroom space, as to not rely on the ceiling lights), artwork, hooks to hang bath towels in the bathroom, and either sliding doors or a noren for the bedroom space as it is completely open to the living and kitchen space. An explanation on how to use the 3 ceiling lights remote controllers would be appreciated. This is a mixed building with Japanese residents as well as foreign guests. We received a message the night before checkout at 9PM with a “reminder” to be quiet and I couldn’t tell if it was directed towards us (as a passive way of warning us) or just customary (which seemed odd), but it rubbed me the wrong way. We are a family of 3 with a one year old. My husband had to work from 5AM-9AM every morning. We were not loud or up late at night. Though I could hear some neighbors/outside noise at night, it wasn’t enough to complain about. Perhaps the neighbors did not appreciate hearing a baby? If that’s the case, then maybe this building is not as family friendly as we had hoped. I hope the hosts can clarify the situation.

Grand appartement avec plusieurs pièces (3 espaces possibles de chambres individuelles). Pratique car près de la gare. Supermarché à 100m. Beaucoup d'équipements (fer à repasser, lave-linge, espaces pour étendre le linge...), un vrai ofuro (bain) grande cuisine équipée.

Près de la gare veut dire aussi passage de trains pas très loin du logement. Mais ça ne dérange pas plus que ça. La vue n'est pas romantique ;-)

Widok z okna dla nas był niesamowity, a dla fanów kolei musi być spełnieniem marzeń - nadjeżdżający Shinkansen do kawy ;) - a przy tym bardzo cicho - spokojna noc. Kolejny plus lokalizacyjny - po drugiej stronie torów, już ok 5-10min spacerem jest mała dzielnica pełna restauracyjek i barów, bardzo klimatyczna - wspaniałe miejsce - jak Shinjuku w Tokio Golden Gai, ale bardzo lokalnie. Nr 3 - duży market 2-3min od mieszkania. I bliskość samego dworca -blisko ;) Samo mieszkanie wygodne, przestronne, zaopatrzone - dojazd windą na wyższe piętra.
