"Quirky place to stay"

The location was right in the centre. So easy to walk everywhere. Very friendly and kind. I wanted a quirky place to stay and this was just that. Compact but everything you needed. Beautiful shower, comfortable bed. All you need in the kitchen. Loved the history. I definitely will be returning. X

Perfect location, in town but set back from the main road. Clean, comfortable and warm despite the weather. Wonderful owners.

I couldn't work out how to.use the oven but that's a me problem... :-D

"A great find..."

A beautiful self contained annex in listed historical building, literally everything is provided, from books to read, games,a CD player,a smart TV and even a tablet to use, fully equipped kitchen, everything was absolutely spotless, tea, coffee, herbal tea, biscuits, washing up liquid and shower gel were all provided, good location too. Looking forward to my next visit

The place was difficult to find (I'm not good with instructions) but the lovely host came to meet me. The staircase is narrow but due to the building being listed they cannot put a hand rail there (no fault of hosts)

It had lots of character and felt really cosy and comfortable. There were many lovely touches in the interior design. It was just off the upper end of the high street and a really convenient location. The hosts Jed and Gayle were well hospitable, friendly and helpful.

"Disappointing"

We liked the location, we loved the listed building, very quiet. Lovely shower room but one of us missed having a bath.

One of us didn't feel comfortable in the small, claustrophobic spaces of both the bedroom and the living area. Wi-fi connection wasn't very good. Small kitchen bin.. needs bigger bin...no bag to put rubbish in. Penguin figurines unnecessary. We didn't realise the owners live on the property as had thought the garden was for sole use so was disappointing as no privacy.
