Delighful self catering in the heart of Glastonbury

Very quirky & quaint, with loads of character. It’s set out with the lounge/kitchen upstairs and the bedroom & bathroom downstairs. Lovely big bathroom! The outside space (shared with the owners) is a lovely bonus when the weather’s good and a perfect little sun trap in the afternoons/ evenings. Lots of homely touches everywhere.

A little tight on space in the bedroom but still so lovely with the exposed brickwork. Also there’s a narrow spiral staircase so might not be suitable for some. A couple of tips for safety : there’s a step down to the bathroom which you have to be aware of, and there’s a metal middle leg under the bed which you could easily catch your foot on, however once you know it’s there you do your best to avoid it. 😂

Location was great, apartment was perfect, host was lovely, would highly recommend.

We liked everything. The owners Gayle and Jed are lovely warm friendly people who have done a wonderful job of renovating and furnishing this beautiful important historical building. Although small and very compact the 1 bed house has everything we needed including privacy, a great kitchen, beautiful bathroom and garden area. The location is absolutely amazing for shopping in the high street or access to all of the local attractions like the Tor, the Abbey and both Chalice Wells, all of which are within easy walking distance of the front door. We would recommend this to anyone and we had a fantastic time.

Such friendly, welcoming hosts who made sure we found a parking spot that was free and nearby for the weekend. Lovely, cosy, quirky cottage with everything we needed. And fantastic central location but quiet too!

This is small but cute apartment.

Jed met us in the garden on arrival - parking was made particularly easy following instructions sent to us prior to our arrival. We were shown around & given an overview of the property including it's history, very interesting! Particularly impressed with the stove feature in the bathroom! Wonderful little place, very well equipped, lots of quirky features, quiet, quaint, pretty little garden, close to everything you need to see, & perfect for a long weekend stay.

Not much room either side of the bed so we bumped our toes a couple of times, but we can't hold this against Gayle & Jed as they can't make the property any bigger, & a smaller bed wouldn't be any good. So really just an observation & a note to be a little cautious when accessing the sides of the bed.
