Gonana Studios & Villa

We liked the rustic but elegant look and feel of the house. The house met our expectations and was well maintained and cleaned. The bathrooms were well kept and everything in the house was working. The place was just across the road from the beach and very close to the waterfront. Our cars could park outside and it was safe.

Just a later check out time. Nothing else, the place is very well equipped and neat.

We arrived at 1.30 and they refused us to drop our luagage Then we order a double bed and gave us 2 single beds

The check-in experience was terrible. No clear instructions that if you are staying in the studio or villas, you need to go to the guest house (separate location) to complete check-in first. You seem to be phoning someone who is clearly not on site, just for him to call the individuals on site to try and arrange the check-in. I was then asked to write down my card details, along with my CVV code, which I've never asked for before, and I am certainly not comfortable sharing. Then, we headed back to the studio as we were told the lady would be there with the keys. Arrived there with no one on site, ended up having to call the person again, who then calls the onsite staff. Really inefficient check-in process that wasted at least an hour of our time. Also, only one of us had a hot shower, as the hot water seemed to run out fast, not sure if everyone was sharing the same geyser. All in all, it was a disappointing stay. Had I known, I would definitely not have booked here, as there were other similar priced options available.
