From the location, the appartment itself up to the smallest details .. we loved our stay. Angela and her family greeted us warmly, but also respected our privacy. All around the appartment there were little things that showed that Angela tought through what you might need during your stay and maybe forgot to pack :) For example, in the bedroom you will find help to repell the mosquitos in the night and in the bathroom extra female hygienic material was present. You can even order a loaf of bread delivered at your door step should you not want to you up and down the hill in the morning. But the most attentive of all were the little homemade eatable presents for the kids, the delicious chocolats on our bath towels and ... the already chilled bottle of wine! What a treat after a long ride. Also worth to mention is that the location itself and the activities that can be done in the surrounding area (from Salzburg to the Liechtensteinklamme) are so diverse and interesting that a few days is too little time to see and do it all.

Many thanks to Angela for her incredibly warm welcome and her delightful homemade welcome drink! Her hospitality truly set the tone for an exceptional stay. The location was absolutely 5-star, offering a marvelous balcony view that was a highlight of the experience. The apartment itself was high-class, featuring comfortable and very clean European-style furnishings. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully laid out, making the most of the generous space. The kitchen was beautiful and exceptionally well-equipped, providing all kinds of amenities, including a dishwasher and a clothes washing machine, which was incredibly convenient. And the balcony, that's another story entirely! It offered a breathtaking nature view of green landscapes, clouds, and mountains, and was also located directly in front of the magnificent Hohenwerfen Castle.

We loved the attention to detail, the views and the exceptional hosts. We found a beautiful Appartement ready for our kids to run around.

The location and view were spectacular - 10/10 - the weather for us was perfect and the views of the burg were incredible, especially when lit up at night. Perfect location also for trips - Hallstatt, Berchtesgaden and Salzburg all within an hour’s drive.

For us (5 of us), the property was perfect.

Absolutely stunning place to stay! The view is incredible and we found ourselves taking longer to get our day started just to watch the castle float amongst the clouds! Close to lots to do and the small town below is amazing too!

The host - Angela - was extremely friendly and knowledgeable from the moment i booked to the follow-up message to thank us and wish us well after we left. She was always on hand to help us and nothing was ever too much. She gave us plenty of recommendations and information about the local area and places to eat or activities to do, and always with a smile. As for the property itself. It is truly breath-taking. The house is so welcoming, clean and beautiful, with lots of space. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a balcony to take in the view (which i could look at for hours every day), means that you'll never feel cramped in here. The beds are comfy and you have all the facilities and utensils you need to cook your own meals and live there. Despite the colder climate, there was always sufficient and evenly distributed heat through the property, so it was never stuffy or too intense. I had requested for Angela to put something together as a nice little surprise welcome for my partner's 30th birthday, which she didn't have to do, but she made sure there were balloons and chocolates and a lovely card set out for our arrival which really means a lot and I'm so thankful to her for that. It's a reflection of how accommodating she was through the whole process. In summary, if your thinking of visiting the lovely town of Pfarrwerfen, for whatever reason, you simply have to book your stay here. It is 100% worth the money. The view of the castle and the town below with the beautiful mountains and landscape in the background in itself is worth more than the money you will pay to stay here, and you are in good hands here. Honestly i was really trying to find something to put here, but i just couldn't find anything. The whole country is beautiful and the people of Pfarrwerfen, including Angela and her family, are incredibly friendly and tolerant. Not a single bad word to say for this bit, I'm afraid.
