Everything about the place and the owner and his employee was 10 out of 10.

No housekeeping. For the amount of money we spent, housekeeping can surely be added. Even if we paid a few Rand extra. That's the one real issue I had with the 10/10 facilities we received.

Owner over charged me for 2 extra people when we rented the entire house that sleeps 8 and we were 8. No dishwasher soap, no washing machine soap. House was not fully clean

Sparkling clean, comfortable and modern right on canal. Beautiful. Had a lovely swim in the canal.

The tap water is good for general use but not safe for consumption. Having a start-up say 5 liter bottle of drinkable water would be an improvement. Being on the water's edge, kayak or canoe for rowing would be nice. We were advised to enquire at the hotel close by, but the hotel's canoes are no longer in use.
