Wiltshire Cottage

The property was central. We liked how cosy the cottage was, as well as the decor.

Couldn’t find a bell at the gate. The message I had sent to the owner before didn’t come through at time. Thus I googled for Wiltshire Cottage . To my surprise, there was a hint: permanently closed. It turned out later, it may have referred to “Wiltshire Cottages” , a very confusing nearly same name. I sent the owner a message , telling him that I looked for an alternative stay because of this message. Of cause, I couldn’t get a refund.

Windows in kitchen not closing properly and therefore easy access for geckos. I'm terrified of geckos.

General maintenance of the property

It was really quiet

No lock for parking area gates, but perhaps there is no need as this a quiet area

Maintenance is lacking Crockery could be enhanced Noise Noise A neighbourhood pub is operating right next to cottage Excessive noise complemented by two noisy dogs and a busy road If you look for peaceful solitude - look elsewhere In dire need of maintenance and refreshment No private parking Car in sun on pavement with no security

Very quaint cottage near all the facilities

I forgot to lock the canopy, then my fishing rods were stolen over night of my arrival.
