Upon arrival, I was very concerned to find that the property is located directly across from a safe injection site and an area where a large number of homeless individuals regularly gather. This was not simply a typical downtown environment, but a specific facility situated immediately in front of the building's entrance. As a result, the surroundings felt uncomfortable and unsafe, particularly for visitors unfamiliar with the area. I believe such information is highly relevant to a guest's decision-making process and should be clearly disclosed before booking. In addition, after making the reservation through Booking.com, I was unexpectedly informed that a $500 security deposit would be required. This was surprising, as I have booked numerous hotels and apartment accommodations through Booking.com in the past and have never encountered such a substantial deposit requirement that was not clearly communicated during the booking process. Furthermore, I requested the possibility of checking in only 30 minutes earlier than the standard check-in time. Instead of a simple accommodation request process, I was sent payment instructions and informed that an additional fee, including taxes, would be charged for this minor adjustment. Given that the request was for only 30 minutes and subject to room availability, I found this approach unreasonable and not in line with the level of customer service I would expect.

From YQB airport, take Bus 80 to Dorchester (the last stop; 50-minute ride). The apartment is conveniently located 2 blocks from bus stop. Bus 800 from near the property will get you to Montmorency Falls (about 1-hour ride). Eateries are 2 blocks away on Rue St. Joseph. Apartment #305 was comfortable and spacious. Property management responded promptly through booking.com with information provided in advance. No hassles to check-in and check out. Enjoyed our stay!
