Ey Sofias Suites

We had an absolutely amazing stay here! You can tell that the owners had the intention to make your stay comfortable and just like at home, not missing a single thing from the apartment. The host was very nice, flexible and accommodating, we could check in earlier which meant a lot arriving to the island with an early morning flight. Can wholeheartedly recommend!

The Ey Sofias Suites is the best for Rhodes if you are travelling two. The location is great, in the Old Town. You can easily reach anywhere by foot. It is only 8 mins from ferry/marina. For the beach we preferred Ellie Beach, and it is about 25 min walking. The host sends every information you need (how to reach the apartment from the gate, how to get the keys, how to use facilities in the apartment etc.). The kitchen stuff is more than enough, there is a supermarket 7 mins walking to the house, you can get shop from there. They even put beach towel. Great place, great host!

There is nothing I don't like

We were initially very pleased with the location of Ey Sofias Suites. Situated in Old Town, it’s conveniently close to key attractions and offers easy parking just outside the area with a short walk. The interior is beautifully designed, and it seems recently renovated. The snacks and amenities provided were also a nice touch.

However, upon entering the apartment, we encountered a serious issue: humidity. The apartment was extremely damp, which made sleeping uncomfortable and caused our belongings to smell musty. But the worst part of our experience was not the humidity itself but the sewer flies that accompanied it. We were exposed to hundreds of sewer flies both inside and outside the apartment, making our stay very unpleasant. We asked the apartment owner to address the issue on the first day, and we were assured that the place would be fumigated the next day. However, despite being told that the fumigation had been done, there was no noticeable change in the fly population or the condition of the room. We requested another round of fumigation, but we doubted whether it actually took place, as nothing seemed to be moved or improved. Additionally, the internet connection was quite slow, which only added to our frustration. Overall, staying in a damp apartment infested with sewer flies made for a very unpleasant experience.

The single bed option helped, with the softer duvet to lie on. All else was perfect.

The bed was a little hard, two pillows each might have been nice.

The owner was great and kind. The facility was very central and close to historical places. The room has everything in the kitchen like coffee machine, microvawe and owen. Ey Sofias Suites would be the place to stay if i will go to Rhodes again.
