Sea and the city

This apartment was beautiful- spacious and well maintained. Bedrooms were comfortable and everywhere was very clean. Two balconies gave options to be in sun or shade. Stelios looked after us really well with lots of advice and ideas. The food provided on arrival was a welcome addition.

We had a fantastic stay. Stelios was lovely and went above and beyond to make sure you had a great stay. He organised a taxi for us from and to the airport. We had a late flight in and he personally greeted us at the property. There was some food at the apartment, drink, fruit and wine for us when we arrived. Everything you needed in the apartment was there. During our week he dropped off some pastries and cakes which were delicious. He always kept in touch to make sure you was enjoying your stay. Thank you Stelios you are a lovely person and a fantastic host. We will be back 100%.

Host was exceptional. Very secure,tidy well equipped unit. Host supplied some basic supplies for our arrival which was awesome.

Everything was great.

Fantastic location, easy access to beach and restaurants. Even though we travelled in November and many tourist restaurants were closed for the season, Rhodes town is vibrant enough with walking, shopping and restaurants to keep us busy. We rented a car and parking was easy at the apartment. Our host Stelios was very friendly and helpful with suggestions, he even stocked the fridge for our arrival with milk, water, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, etc. Very generous of him. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends

Stelios has been an exceptional host, welcoming us on arrival at 10.30 pm, providing many supplies of food and drink, and helping us with car rental. He also brought us a gift of baklava during the week. The location was perfect, as the name suggests, a few minutes walk from the west 'sunset' coast, yet 15-20 minutes walk to both Old town and New town. Two good supermarkets are Kypseli, 15 minutes walk south, and Bazaar in the Old Town. Rhodes is an incredible historic destination, weather in late October was glorious, but nowhere was too busy.

There was nothing about the apartment we disliked. One issue about the location was that the direct route into the Old Town along Papaloukas was busy, being the main route out of the town to the west coast, but narrow with no pavement.

The location is within walking distance from several beaches, old town, port, bus stops, plenty of restaurants and small shops (though choice somewhat limited,but super-market Kalaentzis was very good). Quiet, beautiful seaside view, very spacious balconies, dream kitchen equipped with every possible appliance and everything in perfect working condition. Beautiful apartment, nicely decorated, 2 bathrooms, great hot shower, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. We didn't wish for anything. Mr Teros deserves 20 star review, we arrived 4 h before check in, he waited for us abd allowed us to check in, brought extra toys and equipnent for our baby, the fridge was filled with melon, peaches, tomatoes, cheese, water, milk, he brought us the most delicious local sweets and ice-cream and provided lots of advice, for example on local transport..

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Highly recommend. The host Stelios gave us the best attention and welcome feeling taking care of all needs.

Stelios is an outstanding and very friendly host, we've never experienced such exceptional hospitality. Not only that there was a loaded fridge with all the essentials and also fresh fruits, bread and cake on the kitchen counter when we arrived late evening, but also him surprising us after a few days with homemade ice cream and cake from a very good local pastry shop made us a bit speechless. And prior to our leave he surprised us again with some delicious goods from the pastry shop. He also provided us with very valuable insider information from the beginning until the end of our stay and was frequently checking on us if we needed anything else. I traveled a lot around the world in the last decades, but Stelios raised the bar when it comes to hospitality. Our one year old son immediately smiled at him and continued doing so whenever he saw Stelios, this was proof enough for us that Stelios is a very good person. The apartment 'La vita è bella' itself does not need too much further explanation, the pictures speak for themselves. It's a beautiful and well equipped apartment with everything you need for a relaxed family vacation, including a beautiful sunset from one of the two balconies. You feel immediately home. It's located very close to the sea (3 min) and old town (15 min).

The apartment and balconies could have been a bit cleaner, but I guess the dry and therefore dusty weather conditions combined with the steady sea breeze make it nearly impossible to provide an impeccable clean apartment.

The owner of the apartment was very responsive. He had provided both snacks and drinks. We arrived after nine in the evening and that was not a problem either and we were warmly welcomed. Recommended sightseeing spots, eateries and always kindly offered help if needed. The sea view was divine. Everything was more than good.
