Great location and easy to get to from the train station. The hosts were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Would stay here again!

Location was excellent right in the centre of Riomaggiore, steps from the main street. Property very clean with air conditioning. Exposed rock walls in bathroom was unique. The property, albeit central was slightly back from the main street which ensured it was not too noisy. Collection of the key was effortless with great communication. Water and some drinks supplied in the bar fridge. Riomaggiore was the best location for us to stay to explore Cinque Terra as it is a beautiful town with plenty of restaurants and bars. If swimming is more your scene then Monterosso would be the pick. Manorola was a bit too quiet and small to use as a base while Corniglia is a must visit however a bit isolated as a base. Vernazza would rival Riomaggiore but in our view Riomaggiore was ideal. Cinque Terra was beautiful overall.

The bedding could have been a bit more updated and fresh to match the great location and environment. The drinks in the fridge was fantastic however a small milk would have been ideal, not a major factor as there is a small shop across the road. The apartment was slightly "musty" due to the rocks and brick walls with minimum windows. To be fair though it is a very old space. Overall these smaller observations would not impact our recommendation of the apartment.
