the property was right in the main town only a short distance from the train station.

the owner sent me check in instructions first thing with a code for a safe lock box outside, however — the code did not work. when i contacted her via the app she simply resent the same instructions. my phone does not have the type of service abroad where i can call and i let her know that. the guests in her second unit allowed me to use their phone to call her and after gaslighting me saying the lockbox did work and i was at the wrong unit, she hung up and said she did not have time to talk as she was in genova at work. she then proceeded to ghost both myself and the other guests for an hour. I was locked out for two hours of the middle of the day during my one day trip to cinque terre, which was incredibly inconvenient and actually caused me to lose out on a prepaid excursion.

I liked the location of the property and the owner was really nice and always responsive to my messages

i had to climb 2 floors with really steep stairs with a lot of luggage and there was no arrangement for that. the bed springs were uncomfortable to sleep in.

The room is blind and the living area relatively small.

The location was convenient to get to upon arrival in Riomaggiore and close to the ocean access and harbor. That's about all I can say that I liked.

I should have paid closer attention to the size. It was tiny and there were 47 very steep, very narrow stairs. This apartment is not appropriate for 3 adults as advertised. One person was 6' 4" and barely fit the main bed. The sofa was not comfortable and when open left nowhere for us to sit. The bathroom was approx. 3 feet by 5 feet. The description stated that there was a seaview. There was no sea view. I'm glad we only booked for one night.

Perfect location in the heart of RIomaggiore- everything you need, transport, food, swimming, and boat trips are literally 1-3 minutes away. The well-appointed apartment is suited to a couple or small family. The 5 sets of steep stairs were initially tricky, but good training for the Cinque Terre walks!

The stair light not working on the last flight of stairs- but used my phone so no problem. Contact for check-in was via phone or text- might be a problem if you have no data- saying that, communication was fast and easy.

Great accomodation, very close to the train station, restaurants and beach. Friendly and helpful host.
