Appartamento chic Riomaggiore 5 Terre

The host is very helpful, and attentive and met us at the train station. The apartment is so central. We loved the little extra things at the apartment.

Beautifully appointed, clean, spacious but cosy with wood beams and trim, colorful artwork, terrace and everything you need to make a vacation rental a vacation home away from home. We sincerely appreciated the coffee after a long day of travel and were grateful to be met at the train station. While Riomaggiore is easy to navigate after a bit of exploration, google maps is not as effective or friendly as a guide! Excellent communication with the host before and during our stay.

Loved it all! Be aware, that like many European cities there are many step stairs in 5 Terre including Riomaggiore. We did not find the stairs to this home challenging compared to many other locations in the village.

What did we like ? Where to begin and end, this was our 2nd trip to Italy in 7 Years and our first to the Cinque Terre region. I as the co-ordinator for our group of four was having misgivings about our choice in Riomaggiore at the time of my booking. This was quickly dispelled through contact with Giulio, firstly with his well documented papers he supplied on finding the apartment and then amazingly receiving a video walking us through the trip from the train station to his apartment and tour of same. In all by years I’ve never had such a “Super” host., or even close. He even had Ivana meet us coming off the train and walked us to the apartment. Now, the apartment, while we’ve certainly stayed in bigger accommodations we’ve never found such a treasure as this, it lacked absolutely nothing from an ample supply of dishes, linens, pots, pans and everything we could possibly want or need. The apartment was clean as a whistle, centrally located just a mere two. Minutes walk from shops, restaurants, cultural sites, and train station. There are so many good things I could add, the decorations, photographs, artwork, everything was so beautiful. This was our last stop on our Italian trip and we definitely saved the best for last, largely due to our host Giulio, Ivana, scenic Riomaggiore and the apartment. If you’re venturing to Cinque Terre do yourself a favor and reach out to Giulio to secure his beautiful home, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful and well located apartment. Everything was perfect

The property was very well equipped and very functional for 4 people. Supplies such as coffee were very generous and well appreciated. It was great having the lounge area where we could all sit in comfort after a big day walking. Ivana met us at the station and guided us to the property and explained everything and checked the next day that all was good. We felt looked after. The property is very close to the shops and to the station and not many steps (by Cinque Terre standards!). It was also nice and quiet.

Extraordinary well designed and has a very attractive decor. Very functional and so fully equipped. Without question one of the nicest I have stayed in.
