Dean End Apartment 2

Wonderful, peaceful property. Very very comfortable, spotless clean. Michelle was a fabulous host, fantastic local village store and pub.

Michelle was very pleasant and helpful showed us where everything was etc. She also left us a few bits and pieces to start us off. The apartment was very clean and there was plenty of crockery cutlery etc.

The fridge was frosted up when we arrived and the food didn't really get cold enough afterwards.

Michelle and Mark were very welcoming. There were several little extra nice touches to our arrival and stay which were unexpected. The property and facilities were excellent.

A beautiful apartment in a lovely setting which, although quite remote, provided easy access to several local beauty spots. The apartment was very comfortable, and careful attention to detail made for a pleasant and relaxing stay. A tray full of local goodies was a really nice touch and much appreciated on arrival.

We had an issue with the fridge, but this was quickly sorted as soon as we reported the problem to Michelle.

It was a clean, comfortable, spacious well equipped apartment for two. Ideal for touring the Forest of Dean and surrounding area. There seemed to be plenty of places to eat out in the area but we prefer to self cater. Lovely courtyard to sit out in and enjoy the sunshine. We were told about the two steps into the bathroom so it wasn't a problem for us and the shower was lovely and invigorating. Michelle was very helpful and was only down the road at the village shop if we needed her. Thank you for the welcome pack, it was very generous and we really enjoyed the variety of goodies. Would definitely recommend.

Perhaps clearer directions to Dean House, the main route was clear but went driving past as there is only a small sign and it's on a bend and easily missed.

Quiet , relaxing, bright, comfortable. Enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing.

Only one pub in nearest village so have to drive to find other pubs etc. if you want a change we didn’t cook.

Absolutely fantastic location a little gem. Would definitely stay again. Michelle was a fantastic host.

The host was very friendly and explained everything to us. The apartment was light and airy which was ideal as the weather was warm. There was bread, milk and a lovely cake and drinks left for us too.

I can't say I disliked anything really but as I am quite small, I did found reaching the cupboards quite difficult so a small stool would have been handy.
