Dean End Apartment 2

Beautiful apartment, clean, very well appointed and decorated with beautiful accessories. Very warm welcome and milk, bottled water plus lots of goodies waiting for us when we arrived. Fresh cut roses in vase. Loads of coat hangers in wardrobe. Lots of thought given to ensuring home from home provisions. Great communication from owners who are easily contacted and quick to reply. Brilliant, friendly service.

it was not all on one level as stated as there were 2 steps to get into the bathroom, which was a problem as I am partially disabled

Michelle and hubby did their very best to make us feel welcome. Lovely locally produced food basket. They have a shop nearby which has the best in season local berries. The location is wonderful. It's nice to hear the wildlife in the evening. We felt very comfortable here and will be returning. Many thanks for your hospitality.

These comments are more 'useful info' than 'didn't like'. The dishwasher is a little out of place and you can't open/close the fridge unless you open the dishwasher. This is a minor issue and did not have an impact on our enjoyment of the property. Google maps takes you to a house nearby. If you are directed to turn left into the wrong drive, carry on and it'll be a minute or so up the road on the left. There is a very clear signpost between two beautiful trees. Be warned the heater opposite the front door gets very hot if you turn it up too quickly. Sorry we didn't take photos. The ones taken on the booking.com site are a good representation of what you can expect.

Generous welcome pack and flowers on arrival. Helpful advice from host on local amenities. Comfortable accommodation with some stunning views in the surrounding area. Excellent cleanliness.

Informed on arrival that outside seating area had to be fenced off from garden view which was disappointing. Wifi was very intermittent.

The location and the facilities. The apartment was well furnished.

Everything was really lovely, and Michelle went above and beyond with the supply of milk, cake, biscuits, cider and other yummy things!

There was just one disappointment. The detailed description includes "an outside patio which overlooks our beautiful garden." In fact a high fence has been erected so there is no view of the garden. It would be a good idea to amend that bit of the description.
